We all want to know the secret behind the things we want and aspire for in life. That is a big part of what inspires us to start our different journeys to a better and more prosperous life experience.
The problem comes in when we realize that there is truly no secret and the solution to attaining the things we want is hard work, consistency, and commitment. It’s always easier to find a secret or rather short-cut. As human beings, we are built to survive, and to survive naturally means, finding the best and most efficient way of staying alive and attaining things that keep us alive physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, etc. So don’t blame yourself too much for sometimes wanting the easy way out it's part of your nature.

When we let this nature consume us, a point of conflict arises when we don’t have the discipline to overcome this nature. We know what needs to do most of the time to get exactly what we want but actually doing the work it takes to get what you want is the problem for a lot of women in South Africa.
At the same That is the key, we have discovered to one of the most sought-after bodies in South African fitness. The Body of Zamaswazi Nkosi. How did she get the Abs and Butt to die for?
Well through two types of work she admits. The first work she is adamant you do is the work to get the body you want, this work involves an unquestionable commitment to yourself, your body, and developing discipline. It doesn’t matter whether you are tired, not in the mood, going through things, lazy, or whatever it is. You always show up for the body you want, you always aim to do something daily that will get you to the body you want, no matter how big or how small it may be. Create a daily routine or schedule that priorities the work you need to do to achieve the body you want says the KZN, New Castile native.
She recalls how she got into fitness at a point in her life where she was experiencing hardship. She basically used the struggle that is developing her physical fitness to overcome the different struggles she had in her life, which for us is a testament to her discipline and self-commitment. In her own words “At the start, your results won’t be exactly what you think or even what you want, you may find yourself in situations where you are discouraged but that is the moment when you need to keep going, learn more, and focus on the end results you want” Zama says.
The Second work she is adamant needs to be done is working to maintain the body you want. This comes in when you have reached the goal or start seeing the results you want. At this point, you need to make consistency and curiosity your best friend.

Work towards keeping working out not just a part of your day but make it fun, make it exciting and get curious about new and different workouts to try, understand and entrench yourself in good diet practices, get high on beating challenges you have set for yourself daily in the gym, fall in love with the feeling of out doing what you did last and reflect every time you rest on how far you’ve come. Sustaining the body of your dreams is the hard part Zama believes because it’s easy to get comfortable once you reach a certain point.
In her own words “Her fitness journey will continue until she leaves this earth, fitness is a journey and not a destination” This mentality is the reason her body is what it is today. We asked her if she felt that maybe she is a bit too much body wise and if she feels she might be addicted to fitness and the answer to both questions is a resounding NO!, this goal and this body is her own, she states passionately, that we shouldn’t be influenced by negative thoughts from others about the different things we want for ourselves instead, we should be happy and embrace our individual choices for ourselves, what you see on Instagram isn’t always what you need, focus on exactly what you need for yourself.
It is with all that, Zama has built her identity around the spirit of overcoming and discipline. She knows that all it takes is hard work, learning, stepping up, and willpower. These are the lessons her fitness journey has taught us.
So in closing what does it take for you to get Abs and a Butt to die for?
Well hard work, consistency, and an eagerness to know more and do better for yourself. There is no secret but there is a lot of positive benefits we’ve learned from Miss Zamaswazi Nkosi
