Sometimes life takes us in a direction completely different from where we thought we would end up. We may have our own plans for our lives but if destiny has been
written by the man upstairs, or if the Universe at large has decided on a path for you, there is little to nothing you can do except follow through with the plan set for you. That is exactly what
happened to Paulette.
She is a 24-year-old Industrial Psychology and Media Studies graduate who found herself in fitness and ended up with 1 Diploma and 3 certificates in fitness training and she is a USN Ambassador while being in the running for the current USN Face of Fitness."I never set out to be a Fitness Influencer or model, it happened through being authentic and doing what I love and enjoy", she told us during our conversation. She lives a very strict and disciplined lifestyle where consistency in positively building herself up is a must. She is an advocate for self-love, self-appreciation, and empowerment of others. This comes through her being a personal trainer.

As much as she believes is self-love and appreciation, she is also human and tells us one of the biggest struggles she has had in her life was self-confidence. She overcame this huge obstacle that almost everyone faces through a motto she lives by day by day which is "RISE ALWAYS". This gives us a clear picture of the type of person Paulette is. She is not afraid of going through hardship. She is not afraid of taking on a challenge. She realised a big factor in her arriving where she is right now was self-belief and resilience. This comes through when she tells us, "working out is a part of my lifestyle. It has to be done.i do not compromise easily on that one".
When it comes to diet, she is all about being flexible and treating herself from time to time with the thought that she has to go extra hard in the gym to balance everything out. She is motivated by life, people, struggles, her family and her background. She keeps her future plans and goals guarded close to her and urges us to keep watch on her social media to see for ourselves as they happen. We definitely will be watching because Paulette is someone who is headed in a direction that is going to impact all of us positively. We cannot wait to see her reach her goals.
