A lot of us know how hard it can be to do everything we set out to do, life has a tendency of always getting in the way, and making all our plans take a back seat as much as we can try life take control and leads us at moments where we might not want it to.

Fulufhelo Siphuma is the perfect exception to this, a long time ago she took it upon herself to make herself a priority, and in doing so she refuses to let life take complete control over her, she wrestles with whatever life throws her way and makes sure she gets either top of it or learns a valuable lesson from it, she believes in consistently making sure she does what she needs to do for her health, well-being, and career.

There is nothing she can’t reach by planning effectively and strategically. Scheduling is the key to her getting things done for her if it’s in the schedule it has to be done. She wakes up at 4:00 am and makes sure she is at the gym at 4:45 am to get her weekly routine going with a demanding job as a Chartered accountant in the banking & capital markets she works from 8am to 6pm and then pursues personal projects after that.

Her hunger to better herself in as many ways as possible found her educating herself in health and wellness.

She felt a need to build muscle and transform her body, she struggled until took it upon herself to learn about macronutrient tracking and proper protein consumption in her words “I started fueling my body right so that I don’t sabotage my results. I fueled my workout with high-quality carbs, and followed up my exercises with lean protein and yet more carbs.”

What she is talking about can go over some of our heads but that’s how dedicated and detailed she is. She is all about taking the time to get to the core and understand everything she needs to so it can feed into her schedule and life goals seamlessly.

It may seem that she has it all together but she admits to having moments where things get overwhelming for her and think about giving up but she immediately follows that thought by convincing herself that giving up isn’t a form of failure but it is an opportunity to reassess and restructure her approach to things.

She is motivated by growing up in a disadvantaged community in Limpopo which she credits to pushing her to want more for herself in life, coming from such a background she has learned to process pain in a different way from a lot us she chooses to see pain as balancing tool in life, pain to her is a path that leads to pleasure in her own words “One can't be without the other.

I believe we need to feel pain to appreciate pleasure. It reminds me that with every darkness there is light. Pain is a stream of lessons, a path to growth and understanding of the self. “

Ultimately Fulufhelo doesn’t see herself as perfect, even though some of us might see her so, she sees herself as someone who gives herself the necessary amount time daily to really pursue all the different things she wants in life, she has realized the importance of setting up a system that works for her and really sticking to it.
